An exhibition commemorating the 100th birthday of Chihiro Iwasaki is being held at the Shinmai Media Garden until Dec 28, 2018. Chihiro Iwasaki was one of the most popular and beloved children's book illustrators in Japan but passed away at the age of 55.
During the event from 5 pm to 10 pm daily, Chihiro's watercolor paintings of children, flowers, and butterflies are projected onto the ground in front of the main entrance, giving you a very warm welcome.
